The Kannada filmdom Vijaya Devara Konda has taken birth. That is sweet looking bearded Pranav Hegde for you. He looks so typical to Telugu star Vijaya Devarakonda in his first Kannada film Lungi that has hit the stands on Friday from Khara Entertainment.
Mukesh Hegde popular producer in Tulu films has given a fine entertainment that is not only Khara but also Sweet.

Fine performance, tolerable screenplay and direction from duo Arjun Lewis and Akshit Shetty, pretty good tunes from Prashanth Shetty and Rijo P John eye catching shots that depict Dakshin Kannada culture and heritage are hall mark of this Lungi.

The motto of protagonist is the Make in India of government of India policy is further encouraging for younger generation.

What is this Lungi all about? We have waste body that is Rakshit. He passes out Engineering as an average student. His father has love and hate relationship. He is not confused in love because he fixes Fuse in the adjacent house beauty Ahalya Suresh. That ia light love for him that later builds strong in memory.
The love does not materialize in to marriage but Lungi love last long as the route of the protagonist changes in life.

In the second half the second heroine Radhika Rao strikes in life but the need of the hour for Rakshit is Rs. 5 lakhs for business of Lungi. The fuse remains with wife of Rakshit that is Radhika Rao.

Apparently who supported Rakshit with Rs 5 lakhs is touching element of this film.

Pranav Hegde has promising future in arch light. His innocence is his big asset. He has remained natural in his performance.

Both Ahalya Suresh and Radhika Rao are a treat to watch. There is good support from supporting actors.
Two are lovely in tunes in this film and camera work is appealing.

There is no short fall in this film.

A good family entertainer.
